  • Words become weapons in the world of online reviews
Is it just me, or are online retailers getting a bit pushy with their guilt-inducing emails, begging for a good review – or at the very least, a chance to make things better with an unsatisfied customer? Certainly, it’s a genius marketing move, to establish personal and direct contact via email, before a disappointed customer […]
  • Chicken joint replaces Burger King on the boulevard
There’s nothing like a brand new fast-food option to get Key Westers’ attention and dominate discussions around town and online. Only on this island would the 2015 opening of Taco Bell require armed security details to control hungry crowds in both the dining room and drive-through lines. • FORMER SHERIFF RICK ROTH LEAVES LASTING LEGACY
He was kind. He was fair. Over and over, the people who knew former Monroe County Sheriff Rick Roth repeated those two facts about the top man in Keys law enforcement. He passed this week, on Oct. 15, 2019. He hired onto the force in 1965, as a radio dispatcher. He rose through the ranks […]
